Wistra shows aluminium shoring beam type 1855

Selmsdorf, August 14, 2014 – WISTRA GmbH Cargo Control, specialists for the production of cargo control systems will present their innovations at the Automechanika (September 16 – 20, 2014 in Frankfurt/Main and at the IAA Commercial Vehicles (September 25 – October 2, 2014 in Hannover): Aluminium shoring beams for both vertical and horizontal airline systems. You can find Wistra at booth D80 in hall 4 at the Automechanika and at booth C23 in hall 27 at the IAA.

New designed and presented for the first time is the aluminium shoring beam type 1855 for airline lashing track systems. They can be used for both vertical and horizontal operation. Bearing tube and holder possess the well-proven WIS PVC coating. This synthetics covering ensures a nonslip and isolating surface and a good handling comfort even at low temperatures at the same time. Plus the using area of the shoring beam has no bulking parts.

The innovative locking design is another important advantage of the aluminium shoring beam 1855. This solution is completely doing without spring systems which would stress the body’s outside boards. Here the shoring beams lock self-acting simply by form-fitting. They can be telescoped continuously variable and guarantee a blocking capacity of up to 400 daN in the standard sizes 1000 to 2800 mm. Besides these standard sizes Wistra produces any special size for customer-specific dimensions and telescope ranges in its own production facilities in Selmdorf.

Along with these innovations Wistra presents the complete portfolio of load securing on their 200 m² exhibition booth in hall 27 at the IAA in Hannover: lashing straps in many different designs and variations up to a lashing capacity LC of 10,000 daN, various load securing nets “Safeguard” for the use in station wagon cars up to heavy trucks, lashing tracks, shoring beams, decking beams along with longitudinal bars and cargo bars. The Wistra-own designs like GTS beverage securing, the Safecon load securing for IBC containers and the innovative Quick-View label are the Unique Selling Points of the medium-sized company. Other load securing like edge protectors and anti-slip-mats complete the product range. Furthermore Wistra still produces the “Powerbrace” security door gears for containers, box-type bodies and swap trailers  they started their business with back in 1988.
